The ORNGERF was incorporated on 29 April 1986 as a private, non-profit organization which collects and holds funds to relieve distress of members of the Oregon National Guard and their dependents. Donations to the ORNGERF are tax deductible under section 501 “Exemption from tax on corporations, certain trusts, etc.”, subsection (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
