- When building your resume, be sure to download the description of your MOSs. Use the Army Smart Book to download your MOS (need AKO login and pasword).

- Department of Labor - Career OneStop Center provides an excellent on-line tutorial and a thorough list of reference sources for resume preparation, follow-up contact and thank you letters. The page requires Acrobat Reader to print a copy of tutorial.

- Many large and mid-size companies are scanning resumes into databases. If not properly composed for scanning, your resume might end up garbage in the "bottom" of someone's database.
